Description
Delicious and easy to make spinach and cheese crisps that are perfect as a snack or appetizer.
Ingredients
Scale
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup frozen chopped spinach, thawed and squeezed dry
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/8 tsp red pepper flakes
- Cooking spray
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F and line a baking sheet or muffin top pan with parchment paper or lightly coat it with cooking spray.
- In a mixing bowl, stir together the softened cream cheese, well-drained spinach, mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and red pepper flakes until fully combined.
- Scoop small portions of the mixture onto the prepared pan, leaving space between each mound.
- Gently flatten each mound slightly so the crisps bake evenly and develop crisp edges.
- Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the edges are deep golden brown.
- Let the crisps cool for 3 to 5 minutes on the pan so they can firm up before removing.
- Serve warm, or let them cool a little more if you want them even crispier.
Notes
- These crisps can be served as a warm appetizer or snack.
- The longer they cool, the crispier they become.
