Description
This Snickers Apple Salad is a delicious mix of sweet and creamy flavors, perfect for any occasion!
Ingredients
Scale
- 4 medium Granny Smith apples, cored and diced
- 6 Snickers bars (full-size, about 1 oz each), chopped
- 1 (3 oz) package instant vanilla pudding mix
- 1 cup cold milk (whole or 2%)
- 1 cup Cool Whip (or whipped topping), thawed
- 1/4 cup caramel sauce (plus extra for drizzling, optional)
- 1/2 cup chopped salted peanuts (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Wash, core, and dice the Granny Smith apples into bite-sized pieces. Chop the Snickers bars into small chunks. Set aside.
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the instant vanilla pudding mix and cold milk for about 2 minutes, until it thickens. Gently fold in the Cool Whip until fully combined and fluffy.
- Add the diced apples and chopped Snickers to the creamy pudding mixture. Drizzle in 1/4 cup caramel sauce. Gently fold everything together until the apples and Snickers are evenly coated.
- Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving to let the flavors meld. Just before serving, drizzle extra caramel sauce on top and sprinkle with chopped peanuts for crunch, if desired.
Notes
- This salad can be made a day in advance to save time.
