Description

Delicious homemade tacos with ground beef and fresh toppings.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef (80/20)
  • 8 soft corn or flour tortillas
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1 cup diced tomatoes
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • Optional toppings: sliced avocado, jalapeños, or salsa

Instructions

  1. Preheat a skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Form ground beef into small patties (about the size of a golf ball).
  3. Cook the patties in the hot skillet, pressing down firmly until they sizzle. Cook for about three minutes until browned.
  4. Flip the patties and add cheese immediately to melt.
  5. Warm tortillas in another pan or microwave until soft.
  6. Assemble tacos by placing a cheesy patty on each tortilla and topping with lettuce, tomatoes, sour cream, and any optional toppings.
  7. Serve warm and enjoy!
