Description

Ingredients

  • 12 oz fresh or frozen cheese tortellini
  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 24 oz marinara sauce
  • 4 oz cream cheese (softened)
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook tortellini in salted boiling water according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat until no longer pink; drain excess fat.
  4. Stir in garlic powder, Italian seasoning, marinara sauce, and cream cheese until well blended.
  5. Gently fold in the cooked tortellini until coated.
  6. Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish; top with shredded mozzarella.
  7. Bake uncovered for 25-30 minutes until bubbly and golden brown.

Notes

  • This recipe can be made with frozen tortellini, just increase the cooking time slightly as needed.
