Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound Sirloin Steak
  • 4 cloves Garlic
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Black Pepper
  • 1 pound Baby Potatoes
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil
  • 3 tablespoons Butter
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika
  • 1 tablespoon Dried Italian Herbs

Instructions

  1. Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the halved baby potatoes seasoned with salt, pepper, and paprika. Cook for about 15 minutes until golden and fork-tender. Remove and set aside.
  2. In the same skillet, add 1 tablespoon of oil and 2 tablespoons of butter. Season cubed sirloin steak with salt, pepper, and dried herbs. Sear the steak for 2–3 minutes on each side until nicely browned.
  3. Lower the heat to medium-low, then add the remaining butter and minced garlic. Sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Return the cooked potatoes to the skillet, gently tossing everything together. Cook for an additional 1–2 minutes to heat through. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.

Notes

  • Feel free to substitute sirloin steak with ribeye or flank steak.
  • Fresh garlic is best, but garlic powder can work in a pinch.
  • You can swap in sweet potatoes for a sweeter taste.
  • Consider mixing in fresh herbs for a gourmet kick.
  • Fresh herbs can significantly elevate the flavor.
