Description
A delicious and fun way to enjoy pizza flavors in a pastry format, perfect for parties or a cozy night in!
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
- 1/2 cup pizza sauce
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 24 slices beef pepperoni
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- All-purpose flour, for dusting
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a muffin tin with olive oil.
- On a lightly floured surface, roll out the puff pastry into a rectangle, making it slightly thinner but still sturdy enough to hold the fillings.
- Spread a thin, even layer of pizza sauce over the pastry, leaving a small border along one long edge to help seal the roll later.
- Evenly layer the shredded mozzarella across the surface, then arrange the beef pepperoni slices along the top half of the pastry, slightly overlapping them.
- Sprinkle dried oregano and basil over the top.
- Fold the bottom half of the pastry up over the pepperoni slices, then starting from one end, gently roll the strip into a tight spiral.
- Place each roll into a muffin cup in the muffin tin.
- Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until the pastry is golden brown and puffed, and the cheese is bubbling.
- Cool slightly and serve warm for the best texture and flavor.
