- 1 cup Medjool dates, pitted and chopped
- 1 cup dark chocolate (70% cacao), chopped
- 1 tsp flaky sea salt
- ½ cup chopped nuts (optional; almonds or pecans work well)
Instructions
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Melt the dark chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth (about 1-2 minutes).
- While the chocolate melts, chop the Medjool dates into small pieces.
- Mix the chopped dates and optional nuts into the melted chocolate until well combined.
- Pour the mixture onto the prepared baking sheet and spread it into an even layer.
- Sprinkle flaky sea salt over the top before it sets.
- Chill in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes or until firm.
- Once set, break into pieces and enjoy!
