- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
- 1 medium sweet onion, diced
- 2 cups low-sodium chicken broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup long-grain white rice
- 2 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tbsp olive oil for cooking
Instructions
- Prep your ingredients by dicing the onion and mincing the garlic.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, heat olive oil. Sear chicken breasts until golden brown on both sides (5-7 minutes each side). Remove from skillet.
- Add diced onions and minced garlic to the skillet; sauté until translucent (3-4 minutes).
- Pour in chicken broth and soy sauce, scraping up bits from the pan. Stir in smoked paprika and thyme; simmer for 5 minutes.
- Lower heat and stir in heavy cream; return chicken to skillet. Simmer together for another 5 minutes.
- Meanwhile, cook rice according to package instructions. Fluff with a fork when done.
- Serve creamy chicken over fluffy rice and enjoy!

- This dish can be customized by adding vegetables such as peas or carrots.
