Description

A delicious and hearty breakfast casserole made with tater tots, sausage, and cheese.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 32 oz frozen tater tots
  • 1 lb breakfast sausage (mild or spicy)
  • 6 large eggs
  • 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the sausage until browned (about 5-7 minutes). Drain excess grease.
  3. In a bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, salt, and pepper until slightly frothy.
  4. Layer half of the tater tots in the baking dish, followed by half of the cooked sausage and half of the cheddar cheese.
  5. Pour the egg mixture evenly over the layers.
  6. Top with remaining tater tots, sausage, and cheese.
  7. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until golden brown on top and set in the middle.
