Ingredients

  • ½ cup brown sugar, packed

  • 2 large eggs

  • 2 cups powdered sugar (for glaze)
  • 3 tbsp milk (for glaze)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, cream the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Beat in the eggs one at a time along with vanilla extract until fully combined.
  5. Gradually mix in the dry ingredients until just combined; do not overmix.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown around the edges.
  7. For the glaze, whisk powdered sugar with milk until smooth and drizzle over cooled bars.
