A delicious homemade navel orange marmalade perfect for spreading on toast.
Ingredients

- 4 fresh navel oranges
- 3 cups granulated sugar
- 4 cups water
- 1/4 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 2 tbsp butter
Instructions
- Wash the oranges thoroughly, cut them into quarters, and remove any seeds.
- Place quartered oranges in a large pot and cover with water. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for about 30 minutes until soft.
- Stir in the granulated sugar and lemon juice until dissolved. Simmer for an additional 30-45 minutes until thickened, stirring occasionally.
- Pour hot marmalade into sterilized jars immediately, seal tightly, and cool at room temperature before refrigerating.

- Ensure jars are sterilized properly to keep marmalade fresh.
- Adjust sugar to taste if you prefer a less sweet marmalade.
