- 1 cup light brown sugar
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
- 1/2 cup apple cider (pure)
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter (softened)
- 1 large egg (room temperature)
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
- In another bowl, cream softened butter with brown sugar and granulated sugar until fluffy (about 3-5 minutes).
- Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Gradually mix in apple cider until just combined.
- Fold dry ingredients into the wet mixture until no dry streaks remain.
- Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto ungreased baking sheets, spacing them about two inches apart.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until edges are golden brown; let cool for 5 minutes before transferring to wire racks.
