Chicken and Bisquick Casserole

Description

A comforting casserole made with chicken, mixed vegetables, and a delicious Bisquick topping.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups cooked shredded chicken
  • 2 cups frozen mixed vegetables (peas, carrots, corn, green beans)
  • 1 can (10 oz) cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup Bisquick mix
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together shredded chicken, frozen vegetables, cream of chicken soup, chicken broth, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  3. Spread the chicken mixture evenly in the prepared baking dish.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together Bisquick and milk until smooth. Pour the batter evenly over the chicken mixture. Do not stir.
  5. Drizzle the melted butter evenly over the top of the Bisquick batter.
  6. Bake uncovered for 40–45 minutes, or until the topping is golden brown and the filling is bubbling around the edges.
  7. Let rest for 5–10 minutes before serving.
