- ¾ cup brown sugar
- ¼ cup granulated sugar
- 1 large egg
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1⅓ cups all-purpose flour

- ½ cup chocolate chips
- ¾ cup chocolate Easter candies, divided
Instructions
- Prepare the Pan and Oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F. Spray a 9-inch pie plate generously with non-stick cooking spray and set aside.
- Melt the Butter: Place the butter in a large microwave-safe bowl and melt until just liquefied.
- Mix the Sugars: Stir the brown sugar and granulated sugar into the melted butter until smooth.
- Add Egg and Vanilla: Mix in the egg and vanilla extract until fully combined.
- Combine Dry Ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
- Make the Dough: Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and stir just until combined.
- Add Chocolate and Candy: Fold in the chocolate chips and ½ cup of the Easter candies, reserving the rest for topping.
- Fill the Pan: Spread the dough evenly into the prepared pie plate and smooth the top.
- Bake: Bake for about 25 minutes, until the edges are golden and the center is just set.
- Decorate and Cool: Remove from the oven and gently press the remaining candies onto the surface while warm. Allow to cool before slicing.
Notes
- For a richer flavor, use dark chocolate chips.
