Description

A delicious creamy spinach recipe that makes for a perfect side dish.


Ingredients

  • 10 oz frozen spinach (thawed and squeezed dry)
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 4 oz cream cheese
  • 3/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
  2. Stir in cream cheese and heavy cream. Whisk until smooth and allow to simmer gently until slightly thickened.
  3. Add thawed, drained spinach to the skillet. Stir well to combine and heat through.
  4. Mix in Parmesan cheese, nutmeg, salt, and pepper. Cook for another 2–3 minutes, stirring until everything is creamy and combined.
  5. Serve hot as a side dish and enjoy!
