Instructions
- Prepare the Pan: Preheat oven to 375°F. Line a 9×13-inch pan with parchment paper and spray lightly.
- Mix Wet Ingredients: Beat sugar, sour cream, butter, and eggs until smooth.
- Add Bananas: Mix in mashed bananas and vanilla until combined.
- Combine Dry Ingredients: Whisk flour, baking soda, and salt in a separate bowl.
- Make the Batter: Add dry ingredients to wet mixture and stir gently.
- Add Pecans: Fold in chopped pecans evenly.
- Bake: Spread batter into pan and bake 20–30 minutes. Cool completely.
- Make Frosting: Brown butter until light golden. Stir in powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla.
- Frost and Slice: Spread frosting over cooled bars and cut into squares.
